May 15 Join us for He's a Rebel: Researching Your Confederate Ancestors. Discover ways to learn more about your ancestor's service in the Confederate Army, Navy, or Marine Corps, and ways to learn more about ancestors who were prisoners or were missing in action, wounded or sick, or killed in action. June 12 Join us for Brown Bess, Grasshoppers, and the Bayonet: Weapons, Strategy, and Tactics of the American Revolution. Discover how a country with a poorly equipped and trained army and laughable navy (the American colonies) won its freedom from the most powerful nation on earth (Britain). These classes will be held at Central Library, 1301 Olive Street, from 10 a.m. - 12 Noon. On-street parking is free on Saturdays. Registration is strongly suggested.
