OUR TOWN

Our Town is a feature that will do several things. It will list upcoming genealogical events in the metro area. It will also contain the addresses, phone numbers, and website and e-mail addresses of area institutions with resources genealogists may find helpful.

Old Country, New World: Finding Your Ancestors in Passenger & Immigration Records, sponsored by St. Louis Public Library, will be held at the Central Library, 1301 Olive Street, on Saturday, March 16, 2002, 10 AM-12 Noon in Meeting Room 1. The program is intended to introduce beginning and intermediate-level genealogists to basic genealogical materials and research methods for this subject area. Call 314-539-0385 to register for this free program. Pre-registration is required and seating is limited.
