lighting a menorah, spinning a dreidel, and more.
- Brett Helquist, known for his work with A Series of
Unfortunate Events, illustrates a picture book edition of Charles
Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.
- Rachel Isadora retells Clement Moore’s Night
Before Christmas in an African setting.
- Voices of Christmas uses the words of Biblical
characters, the poetry of Nikki Grimes, and the paintings of Eric
Velasquez to tell the religious Christmas story.
- Just for fun, check out Fancy Nancy: Splendiferous

- 1001 Things To Spot At Christmas, an activity
book by Alex Frith, will keep kids busy for hours.
- “Come close, gather ‘round,” as Dimitrea Tokunbo
