|Resolutions adopted during the 2012 session by the St. Louis City

WHEREAS, we have been apprised that Kathleen Ratcliffe will be receiving a Award for Regional Leadership at the St. Louis Community Empowerment Foundation's 10th Annual Salute to Women in Leadership on May 16, 2013; and
WHEREAS, Kitty Ratcliffe returned to the St. Louis CVC in 2006, where she was a convention sales executive from 1985-1989; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Ratcliffe is now President of the St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission, responsible for the sales and marketing of St. Louis as a destination for visitors and the operations of both the America's Center and Edward Jones Dome, home to the St. Louis Rams; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Ratcliffe served in Board leadership positions for a number of industry organizations including Destination Marketing Association (DMAI) and the Green Meeting Industry Council. She is a past international Chairwoman of Meeting Professionals International (MPI).
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of St. Louis that we pause in our deliberations to recognize Kathleen Ratcliffe and we wish her continued success, achievement and accomplishment and we further direct the Clerk of this Board to spread a copy of this Resolution across the minutes of these proceedings and to prepare a commemorative copy to the end that it may be presented to our honorees at a time and place deemed appropriate by the Sponsor.
