Julia Mize

WHEREAS, we have been apprised that Julia Mize will be receiving a Corporate Leadership Award at the St. Louis Community Empowerment Foundation's 10th Annual Salute to Women in Leadership on May 16, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Julia Mize holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Loyola University and earned her MBA in Finance from Tulane University; and

WHEREAS, a 17-year employee of Anheuser-Busch, Ms. Mize has a long and successful track record in the brewing industry and has held a variety of management roles on top brands including Bud Light and Beck's as well as the brand team responsible for developing and launching Michelob ULTRA in 2003; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Mize launched the "Women In Beer Initiative", a forum designed to allow women in all parts of the beer business to network and share best practices.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of St. Louis that we pause in our deliberations to recognize Julia Mize and we wish her continued success, achievement and accomplishment and we further direct the Clerk of this Board to spread a copy of this Resolution across the minutes of these proceedings and to prepare a commemorative copy to the end that it may be presented to our honorees at a time and place deemed appropriate by the Sponsor.
