Beth Davis

WHEREAS, we have been apprised that Beth Davis will be receiving a Corporate Leadership Award at the St. Louis Community Empowerment Foundation's 10th Annual Salute to Women in Leadership on May 16, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Beth Davis worked her way through junior college and studied education and psychology at Texas Women's University in Denton; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Davis began her 20-year broadcast management career in radio markets both in Texas and Missouri, joining Clear Channel as Director of Sales in Chicago in 2006 before moving to St. Louis in 2007; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Davis is now President and Market Manager for the company's six-station group; Clear Channel is the No. 2 billing group in St. Louis, the nation's 20th ranked radio market.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of St. Louis that we pause in our deliberations to recognize Beth Davis and we wish her continued success, achievement and accomplishment and we further direct the Clerk of this Board to spread a copy of this Resolution across the minutes of these proceedings and to prepare a commemorative copy to the end that it may be presented to our honorees at a time and place deemed appropriate by the Sponsor.
