Eagle Scout Patrick Edward Mausshardt
WHEREAS, we have been advised that on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Hendri's Banquet Center, the rank of Eagle Scout will be awarded to Patrick Edward Mausshardt; and
WHEREAS, Patrick is the son of Edward and Barbara Mausshardt, who are proud and pleased to announce this momentous accomplishment in Patrick's life; and
WHEREAS, Patrick is a member of Boy Scout Troop 62 and has been in Scouting for 12 years. He has earned 31 merit badges and has held leadership positions as the Patrol Leader, Quartermaster, Scribe, Librarian; and
WHEREAS, Patrick is the recipient of the Order of the Arrow, Light of Christ Religious Award, Parvuli Dei Religious Award, Ad Altare Dei Religious Award, and the World Conservation Award; and
WHEREAS, Patrick's Eagle project involved coordinating and building raised garden and flower beds for Our Ladies Inn so the residents could raise their own vegetables; and
WHEREAS, those who are familiar with Scouting are aware that the rank of Eagle Scout is a goal sought by many but attained by few; requiring intelligence, perseverance, and a strong sense of service to your community.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of St. Louis, being apprised of the significant recognition to be bestowed on Patrick Edward Mausshardt at the Eagle Court of Honor, and wishing in some small way to add our congratulations and best wishes to Patrick and his family, we pause in our deliberations to consider and adopt this resolution, and instruct the Clerk of this Board to spread a copy of this resolution over the permanent rolls of the Board and to further prepare a copy of this resolution so that it may be presented to our honoree as deemed appropriate by the resolution's sponsor.
