Kingshighway Home Depot Painters
WHEREAS, we have been apprised that employees, Greg Waters, Rich Pfau and Doug Cartwright from the Kinghighway Home Depot helped beautify Berra Park; and
WHEREAS, Berra Park is located in "The Hill" neighborhood and is named after Midge Berra and includes a comfort station, playground and athletic fields; and
WHEREAS, Berra Park is the site for many community events including Columbus Day events, Hill Day celebrations, Parties in the Park and the annual Turkey Bowl soccer game; and
WHEREAS, many employees donated their time, energy and resources in the beautification on of Berra Park; and
WHEREAS, projects included laying pavers, painting and other general maintenance projects to enhance the beauty of the park.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of St. Louis that we pause in our deliberations to recognize the participants in this important project and we direct the Clerk of this Board to spread a copy of this Resolution across the minutes of these proceedings and to further prepare a commemorative copy to the end that it may be presented to our honoree at a time and place deemed appropriate by the Sponsor.
