22.32.010 Exclusive use prohibited.

No department, board, commission or officer of the city shall let, lease, rent or issue a permit or a license to any private corporation, organization, association, person or club any part or portion of any public park owned or operated by the city for the establishment or maintenance of a sporting or private athletic club or both for the exclusive use of such corporation, organization, association, person or club or its membership.

28.53 Leases, licenses and permits

22.32.020 Cancellation of agreements.

Any agreement, contract, lease or permit heretofore entered for the letting, leasing, renting, licensing, or permitting the use of any portion of any public park for the establishment or maintenance of a sporting or private athletic club or both for the exclusive use of the membership of any private corporation, organization, association, person or club shall and is terminated on the 31st day of December, 1964. All personal property owned by or belonging to such corporation, person, organization, association or club or members thereof shall be removed from such premises on or before the 31st day of December, 1964.

22.32.030 Temporary permits.

The provisions of this chapter shall not be construed as prohibiting the granting of temporary permits for use of public park facilities by any athletic associations or sporting clubs on a temporary basis.
