Vehicles Transporting Flammable Liquids

It shall be unlawful for any commercial motor vehicle containing for transportation loads of whatever size or volume of gasoline, kerosene, propane and fuel oil to be present or operate between the east curb line of Twelfth (12th) Street on the west, the west curb line of I-55--I-70 on the east, the north curb line of Clark Avenue on the south and the north curb line of Martin Luther King Drive on the north, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. of every day except Sunday.

17.69.020 Penalty for violation.

Any violation of the provisions of this chapter shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding $500 chargeable against the operator of the offending motor vehicle. Each day of any violation shall constitute a separate offense.
