Regulation of Trucks by Weight
17.68.010 Limitation on trucks over 24,000 lbs.--Area designated.
17.68.020 Proof of loading, unloading or servicing documentation--Required.
17.68.030 Violation--Penalty.
17.68.010 Limitation on trucks over 24,000 lbs.--Area designated.
All trucks licensed for over 24,000 lbs. gross vehicle weight are prohibited
except for loading, unloading or servicing within the area bounded as follows:
beginning at the intersection of Memorial Drive and Walnut Street, thence west
along Walnut Street to 12th Blvd., thence north along 12th Blvd. to Convention
Plaza, thence east along Convention Plaza to 6th Street, thence south along 6th
Street to Washington Avenue, thence east along Washington Avenue to Memorial
Drive, thence south along Memorial Drive to a point of beginning. The perimeter
streets named above shall not be considered as part of the prohibited area, and
shall be made available for use by trucks.

17.68.020 Proof of loading, unloading or servicing documentation--Required.
All trucks licensed for over 24,000 lbs. gross vehicle weight within the area
described in Section 17.68.010 for loading, unloading or servicing shall furnish
documentation of said purpose such as a bill of lading, freight bill, shipping
order, manifest, shipping or consignee ticket, address of destination or address
of previous stop immediately preceding.

17.68.030 Violation--Penalty.
Any person, firm or corporation who drives or causes to be driven a truck in
violation of the foregoing provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of
a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined the sum of not less
than one dollar nor more than five hundred dollars.
