Limited Access Streets

17.64.010 Hall Street Industrial Highway.

Hall Street Industrial Highway from the south curb line of Riverview Drive to the south curb line of Blase Avenue is hereby declared to be a limited access street in order to more safely regulate the flow of traffic on to, along and off of such street.

17.64.020 Access streets enumerated.

It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to drive any vehicle into or across such limited access street from the following streets or to drive any vehicle from the limited access street into the following streets:

A. Christian Avenue;

B. Thrust Avenue;

C. Ponce Avenue;

D. Bittner Avenue, west of Hall Street Industrial Highway;

E. Doddridge Avenue, west of Hall Street Industrial Highway.

17.64.030 Barricades.

The Director of Streets is hereby authorized and directed to take whatever action as may be necessary to effectuate the purpose of this chapter, including but not limited to the erection of temporary or permanent barricades, stanchions or the like.

17.64.040 Violation--Penalty.

Any person, firm or corporation which violates this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be subject to a fine of not less than $50.00 or more than $250.00 or thirty days in jail or both.
