Parking of Vehicles on Grounds of Juvenile Detention Center

17.60.010 Area designated.

The Judge of the Juvenile Court is authorized to designate parking spaces on the grounds of the juvenile detention center, bounded on the north by Bell Avenue, on the east by Spring Avenue, on the south by Enright Avenue and on the west by Vandeventer Avenue. The Juvenile Judge shall issue permits for the privilege of parking in these spaces designated and shall issue stickers for the purpose of identification. The Juvenile Judge is authorized to require the permittee to place said sticker upon the windshield of the permittee's vehicle in order that it may be readily identified. All such permits shall expire on January 1 next following the date of issuance, and may be revoked at any time at the discretion of the Juvenile Judge.

17.60.020 Effect.

Permits issued by the Juvenile Judge for said parking spaces shall be in effect daily except Sundays and legal holidays between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

17.60.030 Permit required.

No person shall park any vehicle on said property in those spaces designated for parking without first having obtained a permit therefor from the Juvenile Judge, nor shall any person park any vehicle in any place not designated for such purpose by said Juvenile Judge.

17.60.040 Penalty for violation.

Any person violating the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not less than one dollar ($1.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00).
