17.56.220 Property owner--Responsibility.

No owner of a parcel of land within the City shall keep or permit the keeping of, deposit or permit the depositing of, maintain or permit the maintenance of, upon any such parcel of land within the City, any vehicle or parts or part in violation of Section 17.56.020.

17.56.230 Authority of street director.

In the discharge of his duties, the Director of Streets or his authorized representative shall have the authority to enter upon any parcel of land within the City to inspect any parcel of land and to enforce the provisions of this chapter. Should such right of entry be denied in any instance to the Director of Streets or his designated representative, the Director of Streets or his designated representative, may invoke the aid of the Police Department or any other department of the City to enforce such right.

17.56.240 Penalty for violation.

Any person, firm or corporation or other legal entity who shall refuse entry to or deny entry or in any way or any manner interfere with the Director of Streets or his duly authorized representative in carrying out the provisions of this section, or to interfere in any manner with the removal of any such vehicle or parts or part in the enforcement of the provisions of this section, or fail to abate such condition after notices by the Director of Streets shall, upon conviction thereof, be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and punished by a fine not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) or imprisoned for not more than ninety (90) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment; provided further, each day a violation continues shall be a separate offense.
