17.56.200 Final disposition.
Should any vehicle or parts or part not be redeemed as provided in Section 17.56.190, the Director of Streets shall thereafter either sell the vehicle or parts or part at the best price obtainable or dispose of the vehicle or parts by salvage and destruction through contract authorized under Section 17.56.080. In the discharge of his duties under the provisions of this section, the Director of Streets shall comply with the applicable provisions of Section 304.155, RSMo., 1987. The Comptroller shall establish necessary accounts and files to record and control the aforesaid transactions and reports.

17.56.210 Notice of final disposition.
The Director of Streets shall post a notice in City Hall and in any impoundment areas conveniently displayed for public viewing seven days before commencement of the intended action for final disposition of the vehicle or parts or part pursuant to Section 17.56.200. This notice shall contain a description of the vehicle parts or part, the name and address of the owner, and the intended date of the sale, or salvage and destruction of the impounded vehicle, parts or part.
