16.12.010 Warden--Appointment.

The commissioner of adult services is authorized to appoint in accordance with the city charter and city ordinances a warden and other subordinates for the conduct and management of the municipal jail.

Injunctive relief granted to federal prisoners in St. Louis city jail to prevent certain prison practices. Johnson v. Lark, 365 F. Supp. 289 (E.D.Mo., 1973)

16.12.030 Board fee.

The fee for furnishing each prisoner in the city jail with board during the calendar year 1968 is fixed at the rate of three dollars for each day.
