Editor's Note:

Section 3 of Ordinance 59204 provided that all prior ordinances making stealing unlawful are repealed, and Ordinance 11668, as amended by Ordinance 11971 and Ordinance 12423, and all later City codifications of such laws or adoptions of stealing prohibitions in subsequent City codes of ordinances prior to the enactment hereof, are also repealed.

For provisions concerning theft of bricks see Chapter 8.28A.

15.60.010 Prohibited.

It is unlawful and an offense against the City for any person to steal the property or services of another of the value of less than one hundred fifty dollars.

15.60.020 State law provisions.

As far as is pertinent to the offenses created by Section 15.60.010 the state of Missouri statutory definitions and specifications applicable to Section 570.030 R.S.Mo., as amended, shall be applied in construing meanings and the specification of such Section 15.60.010 offense.

15.60.030 Penalty for violation.

Any violation of the offense created by Section 15.60.010 shall upon conviction be punished as is provided for violations of City ordinances.
