"Human endurance contest" as used in this chapter, means any exhibition, performance or contest to which an admission fee is charged and wherein the contestants or any one of them participate for more than twelve hours in any one period of twenty-four hours.

It is unlawful for any person to conduct, operate or participate in a contest of human endurance in the City, or to cause, suffer or permit anyone else so to do.
