15.126.010 Selling or giving away.

It is unlawful for any person to sell, lend, give away, show, or have in his possession with intent to sell, or give away, or to show, or advertise, or otherwise offer for loan, gift or distribution to any minor child under eighteen years of age, any book, pamphlet, magazine, newspaper, story paper, or other printed paper devoted to the publication or principally made up of criminal news, police reports or accounts of criminal deeds, or pictures and stories of deeds of bloodshed, lust or crime.

15.126.020 Exhibiting.

It is unlawful to exhibit upon any street or highway, or in any other place within the view, or which may be within the view of any minor child under eighteen years of age, any book, pamphlet, magazine, newspaper, story paper, or other paper or publication coming within the description of the matters in Section 15.126.010 of any of them.

15.126.030 Employing minor to distribute.

It is unlawful to hire, use or employ any minor child under eighteen years of age to sell, or give away, or in any manner distribute, or for any person who, having the care, custody or control of any minor child under eighteen years of age to permit the child to sell, give away, or in any manner distribute any book, pamphlet, magazine, newspaper, or story paper or other paper or publication coming within the description of matters mentioned in Section 15.126.010.

15.126.040 Possession is evidence.

The possession of two or more of any books, pamphlets, magazines, newspapers, story papers or other publications coming within the description of the matters mentioned in Section 15.126.010 in any store or place of business to which minor children under eighteen years of age are admitted, or in any public place, shall be prima facie evidence of offering for sale, loan, gift, or other distribution of the same to the minor.
