15.118.010 Definitions.

For the purpose of this chapter "pinball machine or similar device" includes, but is not to be limited to, amusement devices sometimes referred to as a pin game, pin table, marble table, marble game, marble board, mechanical baseball game, etc., into which a coin is inserted and the player manipulates a plunger or other apparatus and mechanically shoots a ball into a field of pins, plugs, dips, obstructions, bumpers, springs, holes or similar object.

15.118.020 Written consent.

No person, firm or corporation, acting either as owner, lessee, agent, employee, or otherwise, of a tavern, restaurant, store or any other place of public resort, shall permit or suffer any minor under the age of fourteen years to play a coin operated pinball machine or similar device on the premises of the person, firm or corporation without first obtaining the written consent of any parent or guardian of the minor. The written consent shall be kept in the custody of the person, firm or corporation at the time the minor is playing or utilizing the coin operated pinball machine or similar device and shall be displayed to any police officer upon request. In the event the minor is accompanied by its lawful parent or guardian who is at all times present while the minor plays the machine or device, consent may be orally given to the person acting as owner, lessee, agent, employee there in charge or control of the premises.

15.118.030 Sign.

Any person, firm or corporation described in Section 15.118.020 shall conspicuously display a sign on each coin operated pinball machine or similar device stating thereon. "Minors under fourteen years of age are not permitted to operate this device without the written consent of parent or guardian, or unless accompanied by a consenting parent or guardian."
