15.116.010 Providing liquor or beer to minors.

No person, his agent, servant, or employee shall sell, give away, dispose of, or suffer or permit the same to be done, any intoxicating liquor, nonintoxicating beer or any beverage having an alcoholic content in excess of one-half of one percent alcohol by volume, to any minor under the age of twenty-one years. The provisions of this section shall not apply to the supplying of alcoholic liquids to a minor for medicinal purposes only, or to the administering of alcoholic liquids to a minor by a physician, or to the supplying of alcoholic liquids to a minor by the minor's parent or legal guardian.

15.116.015 Delivering intoxicating liquor or nonintoxicating beer to minor.

A. As used herein, the term "minor" means a person under the age of twenty-one. As used herein, the terms "intoxicating liquor" and "nonintoxicating beer" shall have the meaning ascribed to such terms by Sections 14.01.160 and 14.01.230, respectively, of the Revised Code of the City of St. Louis, as amended by Ordinance No. 61289.

B. No person shall sell, give, dispense, or otherwise deliver any intoxicating liquor or nonintoxicating beer to a minor. Except that it shall not be a violation for a parent or legal guardian to give, dispense, or otherwise deliver intoxicating liquor or nonintoxicating beer to his or her minor child or ward in a private home, provided that such intoxicating liquor or nonintoxicating beer is consumed solely by said child at such home. Nor shall it be a violation for a person to give, dispense, or otherwise deliver intoxicating liquor or nonintoxicating beer to a child as part of a ceremony or service conducted by a recognized religious group.

C. Penalty Clause. Any person convicted of violation of this section shall be punished by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00), or by imprisonment for not more than ninety (90) days or by both such fine and imprisonment.

15.116.020 Selling.

No minor under the age of twenty-one years shall sell or assist in the sale, deliver or assist in the delivery of intoxicating liquor or nonintoxicating beer or any beverage having an alcoholic content in excess of one-half of one percent alcohol by volume.

15.116.030 Purchase or possession by minors.

Any minor under the age of 21 years who purchases or attempts to purchase, has in his possession or consumes any intoxicating liquor or nonintoxicating beer or any alcoholic beverage having an alcoholic content in excess of one-half of one percent alcohol by volume, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.

15.116.040 Posted premises.

No minor, unless accompanied by his parent, or legal guardian, or responsible adult related to the minor by blood, marriage or adoption, shall enter, attempt to enter, or be present on premises licensed for the sale at retail of intoxicating liquor or nonintoxicating beer, where the premises are posted against the entry or presence of minors, according to the method of posting described in Chapter 14.12, unless the minor is legally employed on the licensed premises.

15.116.050 Misrepresentation of age.

No minor under the age of twenty-one years shall misrepresent his age, or make any false statement about his age to anyone, for the purpose of purchasing or obtaining in any way intoxicating liquor, nonintoxicating beer or alcoholic beverage with an alcoholic content in excess of one-half of one percent alcohol by volume.

311.320 Misrepresentation of age by minor to obtain liquor

15.116.060 Possession of false evidence of age.

Any minor under the age of twenty-one who shall have in his possession any identification belonging to someone else, or any falsified or fraudulent identification, which represents that the person possessing the identification is of the age of twenty-one or over, and uses same to purchase or attempt to purchase any alcoholic beverage in excess of one-half of one percent alcohol by volume shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.

15.116.070 Minors in entertainment.

Any minor under the age of twenty-one years who shall be employed in entertainment, or work in entertainment or in connection with entertainment in any place licensed under the provisions of Chapters 14.20 or 14.28 for the retail sale or consumption of intoxicating liquor or nonintoxicating beer, without first obtaining the written consent of the Excise Commissioner as provided in Chapter 14.12, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.

Any adult who arranged or contracted for the employment in entertainment of a minor shall also be guilty of a misdemeanor.
