11.40.010 Sale of adulterated provisions.

Whoever shall sell any kind of diseased, corrupted, adulterated or unwholesome provisions to be used for food or drink, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.

11.40.020 Food or drink.

Whoever shall adulterate, for the purpose of sale, any bread, milk or other article of food or drink whatever, with any substance injurious to health, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.

11.40.030 Candy.

Whoever shall adulterate any candy or other confection intended for sale with any poisonous substance or any substance injurious to health, and whoever shall sell or expose for sale any such candy or other confection, so adulterated, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.

11.40.040 Liquids intended for drink.

Whoever shall adulterate, for the purpose of sale, any liquid or fluid used or intended for drink, with substances poisonous or injurious to health, and whoever in this city shall sell any such liquor or fluid so adulterated, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor.

11.40.050 Unwholesome food.

Any person who shall offer for sale to consumers for human food any human food products that are tainted, diseased, corrupted or unwholesome, or meat from any cattle, hog, sheep or calf that was unsound, sick, diseased or out of condition at the time of slaughter, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
