Real Estate Agents and Brokers
A real estate broker or agent means any person:
A. Who, for a valuable consideration, shall act, or offer to act, as agent for any person for the purpose of buying, selling, leasing, appraising, exchanging, renting, receiving or collecting rents of any real estate or interest therein or improvement thereon; or
B. Who, for a valuable consideration, loans or offers to loan money, as agent for another, on any real estate or interest therein or improvement thereon; or
C. Any person who shall advertise by sign or otherwise, or hold themselves out as an agent for any of the purposes set forth in this section.

It shall be unlawful for any person to advertise, hold himself out as or to act as a real estate broker or agent without first having obtained a license.
