5.64.010 Standardization laboratories.

Laboratories of the Board of Standardization shall be maintained for the purpose of classifying, testing and standardizing in accordance with the intent of Section 28 of Article XV of the Charter all supplies and materials purchased by the City for municipal purposes.

5.64.020 Chief Engineer--Appointment--Employees.

The Board of Standardization is authorized to appoint, in accordance with the Charter and ordinances of the City, one chief engineer and such number of other engineers and employees required in the laboratory.

5.64.030 Chief Engineer--Qualifications--Bond.

The engineer in charge shall have been in the active practice of his profession at least five years previous to his appointment and shall give bond to the City in the sum of five thousand dollars.
