Personal Service Contracts With Former Employees

4.62.010 Prohibited as result of violation of Charter.

Every department, division, or authority of the City of St. Louis is prohibited from entering into a personal service contract with any City employee who has been terminated, or who has retired or resigned from City service, as a result of said employee's violation of Article VIII, section 2 of the Charter of the City of St. Louis. This prohibition shall remain in effect for a period of five (5) years from the date of the termination, retirement or resignation of said employee.

4.62.020 Null and void contracts.

Any contract for personal service between any department, division, or authority of the City of St. Louis and any City employee who has been terminated, or who has retired or resigned, as a result of said employee's violation of Article VIII, section 2 of the Charter of the City of St. Louis, which is entered into after the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter and within five (5) years of the date of termination, retirement, or resignation, shall be null and void ab initio.
