Equipment Services Division to Department of President of Board of Public Service
A. There is hereby established in the Department of the President of the Board of Public Service an Equipment Services Division. The President of the Board of Public Service shall appoint an Equipment Services Commissioner who shall have such qualifications as may be prescribed by the Director of Personnel. The Commissioner shall be the head of the Division and be responsible for the City's large fleet of vehicles and equipment as assigned from time to time. It shall be his or her duty to continually develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, accounting and equipment maintenance systems, the annual operating and equipment budgets and prepare specifications for new and replacement equipment and supplies.
B. The Commissioner may appoint, with the approval of the President of the Board of Public Service, such staff as are contained on an authorized Table of Organization from eligibility lists furnished by the Director of Personnel. The Commissioner shall annually make to the President a report on all of the activities of the Division which may be included in the Department's annual report.
