3.26.010 Bonds.

Within fifteen days after appointment, a bond shall be given to the City in respective amounts by the officers for the faithful performance of their respective duties: The President of the Board of Public Service, twenty-five thousand dollars; the Directors respectively of Public Utilities--Streets--Welfare--Parks, Recreation and Forestry--Health and Hospitals--Public Safety--the Water Commissioner and the Street Commissioner, twenty thousand dollars each; Health Commissioner, Hospital Commissioner, Commissioner of Parks, Commissioner of Recreation, Commissioner of Forestry, Commissioner of Children's Services, Commissioner of Adult Services, Chief of the Fire Department and Building Commissioner, ten thousand dollars each; Commissioner of Weights and Measures and Assistant Hospital Commissioner, five thousand dollars each.

3.26.020 Certification of pay rolls and accounts.

All pay rolls and all accounts for work done or materials furnished under the direction of any member of the Board of Public Service shall be submitted to such member, who shall examine them and if found correct certify them to the Comptroller.

3.26.030 Secretary--Appointment--Bond.

The Board of Public Service shall appoint a secretary, who shall file a bond in the sum of five thousand dollars for the faithful performance of his duties.

3.26.040 Secretary--Duties.

The Secretary of the Board shall keep in suitable books a record of the proceedings, fully indexed, of all meetings of the Board. The Secretary of the Board shall make a record of all the Board's acts and orders. The Secretary of the Board shall safely and properly keep and file all petitions, documents and papers belonging to the Board or that may be referred to it. He shall also prepare an abstract of the proceedings of the Board to be published in the papers doing the City printing.

3.26.050 Fixture or change of rates of public utility corporations.

The Board of Public Service is authorized and directed to obtain by petition to the Public Service Commission of the State, a fixture or change of rates in connection with each and every contract which at any time may be made and entered into by and between the City and any public utility corporation for utility service to be rendered by such corporation.
