City of St. Louis Department of Personnel Safety and Health Regulations Manual

Orientation

A department safety orientation shall be conducted for all transfered employees and new hires, including limited-term personnel. The department head will determine who shall conduct the orientation program.

The orientation program shall, at a minimum, consist of:

1. Safety and Health practices

2. Safety regulations and personal safety equipment

3. Familiarization and review of the City Safety Manual

4. Accident and injury notification procedures
